THE MARRIAGE COVENANT (Part 3)
Jeremiah 16:8(Kjv)8 Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.
9 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, -I WILL CAUSE TO CEASE OUT OF THIS PLACE IN YOUR EYES, AND IN YOUR DAYS, THE VOICE OF MIRTH, AND THE VOICE OF GLADNESS, THE VOICE OF THE BRIDEGROOM, AND THE VOICE OF THE BRIDE.-
10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, -Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God?-
11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12-AND YE HAVE DONE WORSE THAN YOUR FATHERS;- for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
(We have been destroyed so much to the point that we have to relearn how to get along with each other. The man is supossed to be a blessing not a curse from God. The woman is supposed to be a blessing not a curse from God. Our Children are supposed to be a blessing and not a curse from God.)
Deuteronomy 28:41(Kjv)
41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them;-FOR THEY SHALL GO INTO CAPTIVITY.-
(If you have made it this far in the curses on our relationships. It is really bad. This happens when we come together, have kids and being that we have the highest domestic violence rate in the country and are so violent towards each other.
Our kids end up in DHS custody and eventually adopted off through the system. We don't even get to enjoy our kids. This is not how a marraige is suppose to work. Here is how a marriage is supposed to work.)
Proverbs 18:22(Kjv)
22 Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.
(When you find a wife. She is supposed to become your best friend. Who knows you better than anyone else. Who even knows you better than your own mother.)
Genesis 2:18(Kjv)
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
(The words "help meet" means: A help suitable for him. Or someone that is right for him, compatible. Like I stated earlier. Man was created to be the protector of woman and the woman was created to be the help suitable for the man and his companion. His friend.
Not just his rib but his rib cage. A protector of his heart. They are supposed to have each other’s back. Not stab each other in the back. Here is a good example from the scriptures of a true Israelite union of marriage.
Just like the Mosthigh made a covenant with us he put it in writing and so did our forefathers. This story picks up at the beginning of an Israelite wedding. But this particular wedding is unique because the woman who was getting married tried several times in the past to be married.
But she had a demon haunting her who would kill any man that tried to consummate the marriage. It is a very good read. I encourage you to read the entire story. But here it is.)
