America is great but not the greatest and can still be better
Right off the beginning, I would clarify this statement to be not absolutely true. It depends upon so many things and many reasons, to some that this is absolutely a baloney statement.First off you have to live in a country that is far better than America, ie SWITZERLAND, to laugh at this slogan. You can be very lucky and live in the other countries that can absolutely ridicule this statement or the goal of the President in making it great again.
I am referring to most of us, who once felt that this country was great and that it can get back its luster again.
Note: if 69 percent or so of the world are living in poverty and way below the standards of an ordinary American citizen, I am sure you say, America was great and that it can be great again.
Another note: Why would there be no other country that consistently for the past 50 years been sought by illegal immigrants?

Anyways, this slogan, Make America Great again would probably refer to the time right after the Depression when the country rose to greatness when it comes to military power, economic power and the fact that the American Dream was an easy reach. Not that it can't be better.
Now on your individual effort of making a situation better in our own ways, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact I believe that it is the most effective way of reaching that goal. All of us would contribute to better our country. Our collective effort then would equal that of the main objective of the current administration. I am all for that.
Please enlighten me.

With the exception of SA, Africa and S America, I could say that I am well traveled which is for me a very privileged chance of seeing and living the world. You believe it or not doesn't concern me.

Now think about all the documented history of the world, if you are not in denial, England alone has amassed so much wealth from their glory greedy days, don't you think? The same thing with Rome and Greece at one time or many times.
