Terribly sad. Two of Nature's most spectacular animals and quite probably none of our children's children will ever see one.
But yes, for every person who battles to save the balance of nature, there is another who feels it is the human right to reach out and take.
Acres of palm trees are mowed down to extract cheap palm oil - sometimes the wildlife living among them can't out of the way in time. Next time you eat peanut butter, see if you can taste the orangutan blood.

What a wretched life this poor animal had, from a young age, poached for a circus, living in a pen among 6 other rhinos, then moved to a horrible small enclosure in a Zoo .
Happily the past few years of his life were in natural surrroundings and thanks to those wondeful people who watched and minded him 24/7 from poachers, he lived out a small amount of his life in peace and in his natural habitat. I really found it sad looking at the photo.

Sumatran Tiger is a case in point, not to mention the Palm oil situation where Orangutangs are losing their habitat as the palm trees are being cut down, major companies being costmetic, Starbucks etc.,
It need not be and it would be so sad to see the Earth without these beautiful animals.
We really are pushing our luck on many dimensions with Mother Earth.
