I need help getting a good rooting,

are there any experts out there willing to share their knowledge of any previous experience's in this particular activity.
Can anyone offer any good software for
Custom recovery for Android Phones. Is it possible to install without crossing platforms or are all CR's boot strapped through USB.

Just looking for some good pointers if anyone has any.

If you want a really good rooting, particularly with the dicots, take extra care of the root apical meristem. Another thing to avoid, is J-rooting, a common consequence of involving volunteers especially schoolkids.
