Here's what I honestly feel.

Some people are a bunch of immature spoiled brats.

Not that it matters what I think but 99.9% of the members are dead serious about all they say and do, are honest hard working people that only visit the blogs about once a week. Wish I could meet more of them.

Great observation about many people being "unserious" on this site, I must say . You used the word "more" so not sure whether you are comparing this site to other sites you've been to or in real life, saying that "there are more unserious people here than on other dating sites" or "more than in real life".

In the few months I have been on this site, with the exception of the men currently talking with as I do not yet how they are or will behave, absolutely none of the men I've spoken to, were serious/honest about what they wanted the least, just absolutely unserious or not serious, just passing their time, wasting my time for, they obviously didn't have anything better to do with their time.

The unserious personality observed on CS is a way the unserious can be in this digital reality world where you can portray yourself as you might like to be, but aren’t.

I don't have expectations, neither I want to take them home. So, they're all good.

Join a local group of like-minded people and get to know someone through social interactions.

That usually works best.

KNenagh I agree 100%. Meeting people in a group, in person, is a far healthier way to meet and is not the 'meat market' that some online sites can be.
However, when you are over a certain age, it can be hard to find people who have the same interests, some people of my age are very staid and old in their heads. I think being online [Dating area] gives you a wider scope [different parts of Ireland and even U,K, etc., ] just my humble opinion.

The thought of coming here to be serious doesn't appeal to me at all.
