Artificial Intelligence
With the rise of AI, is humanity doomed? Or are we flourishing like never before?Robotic world is taking over almost everything that we can think of. The question is? What are the pros and cons?
My personal opinion is that, it is good, for as long as we don't get superficially controlled by them and completely take over our human ability to think and act independently.
What about you? Any opinions?
Good morning blog world.

What we need are robots for washing dishes and other torturous tasks
I'm sure it'll get perfected and cheaper eventually.
My concern is, boy are we as humans will be pushed out of the spectrum? Yikes
No more human sorrow and or pain from loss of lives.
Autonomous cars are just the beginning....
Sad really.
Miwagi, this is a nightmare.
The truth is, if we will become controlled by them and we will be helpless to stop or put an end to their enslaving humans, then that would be the day that man might as well be extinct.
I will be dead by then but I reckon, four more generations and these robotics creations will rule the world if not the universe.
It make's me wonder if films like the terminator are coming true and humans are indeed being replaced by machines
Big, big, big...mistake to rely on machines and expect a positive outcome

Today here in the US, part of these automation is taking over big businesses that employ human.
There used to be a big video renting company called the Blockbuster. I loved that store and I must have spent over 10 grand using their services. I was saving a lot of money from just renting them than purchasing movies that I wanted to watch. Not to mention the good price you can pay for when they will be sold. High quality made movies.
That was displaced, now there are red Box all over the place which I couldn't care less.
Another thing, on the groceries these automatic tellers have absolutely robbed human services. I don't like them at all. I still prefer to go to an actual human teller or cashier.
I am scared of a world that does not , can not thinnk independently, a robotic world in more ways than one. It is late here so maybe I am making no sense.
I am thinking a lot about it though.
Through AI mankind will have to be content with being like a lady of leisure or face oblivion. Being like a lady of leisure isn't as easy as it sounds, particularly for men and there'll be a strong reaction against comfort and ease from people who really need their cross to bear. We may even need a war against the people with a cross to bear before mankind accepts its new lighter, sillier role in existence. The second world war, if the survivors hadn't been so happy to survive the war they'd never have created a generation of oversized children like the baby boomers who could adapt to this kept existence as a pseudo lady of leisure. The men and women before baby boomers came with more purpose and although it made them worthy of more respect at the same time it's dangerous to be worthy of a challenge that never comes... We need another generation like the baby boomers to make society more juvenile, to not think like a proper grown up is how we survive a life kept by industry, it's how we adapt to consumer society.
