This is not a blog, is it?.
it is a big question of my life.
To see life as either punishment or reward, you would have to believe it has been consciously given to us. If you don't believe that, then the question makes no sense.
MA. Buddhists have it right in some ways. Life is mostly suffering. Aa-V.
Life is not that easy, but it doesn't have to be that hard. I can and is what you make it when you have the opportunity to do so. It sometimes is a co-operative effort so just thinking of yourself will not do. You can not have a callous regard for the environment, as this is what will affect how and where you live. The choices you make when given the chance will hurt or help you to various degrees.

Life is neither reward or punishment but a collection of joys and sorrows, hardships and plenty, and opportunity and predicament. How we weather theses and learn from them is what will constitute our lives. Some things we can predict and avoid, others are going to test what we are made of. The only alternative is the one way out.
Neither.. As we born without doing anything.. So without any activity before birth we can't get reward or punishment..
The truth is nobody knows. No proof can offered either way. dunno
Mr Amour ~ Photos like this show the great and needless suffering that so many in the world endure
It says nothing about whether life is a punishment, it says more about 'humanity' and the greed and Bank Debts to 3rd World by greedy banks, and Politicians who don't allow food in to starving people.
What does it say about us as humans ?

That 70% or more people are starving to death, have no clean water, very low life expectancy, diseases that
could easily be cured but cause babies and children to die? whilst the othe percentage in the Western World
are on Diets, spending thousands on Designer Bags and paying thousands on plastic surgery, very sick.
Yup GG, he posted this on the first day that I joined the site. wow But now I felt the need to comment, even though not on a pleasant subject. crying
Thanks to all for nice comment.

but still it's a mystery.
Life is painful, physically & mentally both.
If you are happy, whole thing seems happy. If you are sad whole thing seems sad.

something is happening wrong, why many people live worst life without any fault?frustrated
Chestneychrist ~ Agree 100% with what you say about Karma, and introversion. Building character.
Scott pecks book The Road less Travelled, started off with ~ Life is tough. The author Scott Peck, was a psychiatrist. Tough things happening to us can break us or build character.
Keepers ~ I find these blogs confusing. I don't always look at the date, and it is very confusing.
Even though this is a good blog. They used to keep recent blogs on here, but I don't like the new change over to having old blogs re-hashed.
Life is a wonderful temporary opportunity. You decide for yourself what to make of it. peace
My mother used to tell me when I was a child that life is what you make it and how you choose to live it.
