Las Vegas Trip
Does any of you on here ever gamble?I do but just for entertainment. I used to go to Sin City at least four times a year when I lived in Wooford Heights but now I am way far in the North and only go there now twice a year for fun.
Anyways, I play Pai Gao poker, my only table game and the Progressive bonus is almost a million dollar at the Flamingo. Whoa a very high one compared to all the Indian Casinos in California or even in Vegas. The only thing is that you have to play with $5.00 dollars to win instead of only a dollar in the bonus. The main bet is minimum $25 to $10, 000. I normally play at least $300.00 a deal.
There was a couple next to me playing at least 5 grand per game and walked out with at least $40 grand. Sheesh I wish I'm that lucky.
Anyways I had so much fun. I didn't lose that much but my stay at the Mandalay Bay was cool. I normally stay at the Bellagio and or the Flamingo but this time the price of Mandalay was way too cheap compared to Ceasars and or the Venetian. They are doing everything to get back their reputation.
Yipeee.
Now I can upload again.

Yeah Las Vegas is so much fun for me but compared to the early eighties and nineties when casinos were not all over the place in California Las Vegas was really a destination of so many people.
Anyways it's still okay when it comes to fun and when it comes to Services it's still absolutely entertaining. the good thing about it is it's not as crowded as it used to be.
California is not flooded with small casinos compared to Australia where every block of the city is gloided with little casinos but they don't have game tables only the big ones. At the Jupiter in Queensland there was a game but it's the Chinese tile.
I had fun.
Check Macau out if you love casinos.
I'm pleased to hear that.
How are the honeymooners? Say hi to your love.
Anyways I'm sure it's glitzy.
I was in Monte Carlo in the late 70s before I came to the US and I was impressed but Vegas is for everyone, player or no player.
In Australia specially ir North in Queensland, I heard the Chinese are so aggressive in pushing through the building of Vegas like entertainment there.
I'm positive casinos in China are way up on the high nines.
Note: San Francisco where the biggest China town outside of China are all flooding the Indian casinos and because of this Graton casino 56 miles North of Frisco is a huge Vegas like. The rooms are $400 a night. I'd fly to Vegas than go there.
It’s very nice to have someone scratching my back...
Hope to see you one day.
Anyways, I had so much fun as always. I set my limit and I don't break my bank just trying to win back all my loses. The food as always is so sumptuous and great.
I don't go to Laughlin at all.
Your trip sounds fab and there's something so James Bond and glamorous about gambling but when I'm waiting for the last card to be turned up, or the roulette ball to fall, instead of feeling keyed up and excited I just feel sick. My BFF is like you, gambles for fun occasionally and really enjoys it but I'm missing the enjoyment gene when it comes to tension
I'd love to go to Vegas, though, I believe it is absolutely incredible, such an experience, lots to do even for non-gamblers!
I don't mind gambling with as little money as possible. I am more of a poker tournament player. There is no beating the casino. Poker, at least you are playing other people...not the casino. With a poker tournament, you can buy in for a couple bucks and win big.
If there were any reason why that taxi driver told you to go after 4am and leave before breakfast....I wonder if he would still be a taxi driver. In other words, why is he/she not a millionaire relaxing on the beach somewhere...instead of?
I love Pai Gao Johnny, it is fun.
Premium bonds aren't a gamble, you can cash them in at any time, but while they're in the pool there's always that faint, faint hope ...
But hey, if they DO, you better meet me in Vegas to show me all the fun places
That was 20 years ago. I don't do it that way anymore. I am now just for entertainment but like I said Elle, it is fun. In Monte Carlo, it is just hard core gambling, heck you have to check in your chip before you can enter the casino, in Vegas you don't have to play a single dime. Just visit the stunning displays of art in the buildings or anything you want to do. I hope you love food like lobster. Google Rio restaurant, one of the best in the world. Not quite as the Opera by Hotel Intercontinental in Sydney or the Gianni in Queensland but golly, you'd have fun savoring the sumptuous food.
I do recommend we plan by next December Elle? Most fun time of the year.. It is mind blowing as to what the place would do to entice this season for the world to come.
Yup, love lobster!
Make sure you work on it, okay?
We will have fun, guaranteed.
While you are at it, we can go to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, on a tour for about a day.
I can't wait Elle.
Our derby here is also exciting if you love horses. There are so many movies made out of these events.
Lady, I will try to get to the other place.
JMO
Guaranteed profit for the house.
I know! I adore the horse movies and books. The most recent clip I watched (having read the book years ago) was Ruffian. I don't know where the love of horse racing came in, but it's enamoured me for years.
It's a good thing the track here is a good distance from me. The last time I was at the track, my daughter found a ticket left in the machine. I was sure it wasn't a winner as it was just left there. She got $600 and we left, never even watched the races that day!
Now that's a heck of a payout. lol.
I never gamble but I am pretty active in the stock mkt. The moment one of my activities starts to look like a gamble, I fold up my tent and move on to something else.
My ex BIL, now deceased, got so frustrated with me one time that he actually bought me a $2.00 Lottery ticket. It was a winner, $4.00. I said oh cool, I won 4 bucks. He said you're supposed to go buy 2 more tickets. I said why? He said that's what your supposed to do. I said, that's not what I do. He took the 4 bucks and bought 2 more tickets. They were both losers. I said Are you happy now?
You may be one of three:
1. Your net worth is greater than D Trump's.
2. You are a liar.
3. Your days are numbered.
If I'm not mistaken, the Kentucky Derby is on this Saturday. I don't watch tv so I'll have to either wait for it on youtube, or go to someone else's house to watch it.
