OH TELL ME WHY
the word why. for what ? for what reason, cause, or purpose. wow what a definition for just a little three lettered word. We all use this little word but do we know when we use it are we really wanting the answer from what we get ?A few examples, why are you taking their side, why don't you believe me, why would you think such a thing, why would you change now, why did you do the thing you did.
Think about it the word WHY is a very powerful word, when we are having a conversation with someone and all of a sudden they say well why did you say or fill the way you do we fill we are being attacked and might feel as we are in the wrong this is just something to think about.
I said that to say this. Maybe just maybe, we should live our life so when we say what we say is what we believe and live ?

There now that I ve blown off some steam, Why do I feel Better,
In pondering 'why' - I had to agree with 1to1 - it isn't relevant to anyone else and it's no one's business. We don't have to justify ourselves to anyone else, unless it's a person of authority.
However, that being said, why is the earth round is a fair question and why can lead to deeper questions and answers on how our universe works. Although how would seem to be just as effective.
Or why don't we use solar heat for x can lead to an explanation of how it's not quite that simple to change one energy source for another. That's putting it rather simplistically, but you get the idea.
Depending on how it's used, why can be a very effective tool in learning. I think though, when people ask why questions of personal motivations, an answer isn't necessarily required. I think I'd be interested in knowing why they feel it's any of their business?
The word why can really go in many directions can't they my friend.
Why is probably the most word ever used when needing to get information or a motive as to what someone is up to. Am I right
"And The Reply To You Back ..........Will Be"
"Why Wont You Tell Me?!"... ..............
"Your Answer Will Be"
"Because"
"Then Youll Get"
"Because Why?"
"And On And On And On"..........
I don't know why some people think they're owed an explanation or reason why we live our lives the way we do. When you don't take anything personally, the 'why' question becomes moot.
Forgive me Delilah I just couldn't take anymore'

I enjoyed reading your comment, thank you.
I wonder if she might have cut his hair.
this reminds me of some lady I dated years ago. Her little son asked me one day, "Why you dating my mudder?"
I answered, "Because she's nice."
He asked again, "Why?"
I answered "Because she is. She's also pretty."
The kid: "Yeah, but really, WHY?"
He kept on and on asking "Why? Why? Why?"
Out of frustration, I finally just said, "Because she's female and has the right equipment. I'm trying to get some action with her. Okay? What else do you want me to say? I've been lonely and desperate! Sheesh! Go away, kid. Go eat sweets or play with your toys!"
Your're very lucky it's my bedtime.
See wen I too go way off topic
I am sure you seen where that conversation was headed. You handled it well
