Hello Namwave
We had a black and white small, really tiny (like 13inches) tv back in the day.
Getting up to change the channel, messing with the rabbit ears every ten minutes..doh
Not much of a watcher these days.cool
Hello Nam,wave As for tv.yrs back, my father had a remote, well actually I was the remote, he was for ever telling me to change the channel, and we only had two channels, rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing Oh yes , I also doubled as the remote car starter, and snow blower, doh
"Is that him?" Yep, that's Ed Koch possibly the best mayor NYC ever had.

Nam or Namaron ~ Back in the days, we had a tiny black and white set, with bunnys ears, We had 2 stations and then three. wow ! It took moving and bending those ears to get a station.

Now I have about 80 or more stations and there is nothing worth looking at. I will be finished my year with them soon. I hope to get rid of the T.V.. Waste of time, Drivel and rubbish.

Mr. Ed, Greenacres, Tom and Gerry, That army series with Goldie Hawn, mostly American programmes.
Jack Benny, The Fugitive, lot's of innocent stuff. Back in the days.

Bonny Parker wasn't a bad looking chic. Put some modern clothes on her and do something with her hair and she could hold her own with the beautiful women of today.

BTW, unless I miss my guess, that car she's standing next to was a ford with a Flathead V8 which produced an astounding 60 HP. It was a fast car for the day which is why Clyde Barrow liked it because he could out run the cops.

Namaron of Nam ~ I remember that, and the news was very formal. The TV was not a God in the room, it was a tiny box on a table, in a corner. Ironside was a great programme. I loved him. They'd show films from time to time ~ The Magnificent seven, The little house on the prairie came later, it was great, so innocent.
The Avengers, lots of cowboy and detective shows. Bonanza, I love lucy.

Anyway, things have changed, I hate that big black shiny thing on an 'altar' and it has stopped people from speaking to each other. It has stopped people being neighbours as they sit for hours watching stuff that is made specifically to change their thinking, and lies and of course Big brother is watching them from the T.V. not fake news, the truth.
