The historic moment is happening.

66 long years and now the change. The long silence between North and South Korea is about to end.

This is a very historic moment and even the PM of Japan has applauded our President's initiative on this change.

Anything can happen though, and that is why the troops are ready for any explosive development as fast as a lightning. Alert and prepared. They are waiting at the border between North and South Korea. I just hope that it is going to the peaceful direction.
Although I think Kim is crazy enough to try something stupid, I don't believe he will.

For some reason, I'm willing to accept that things are on the level for peace and possible unity, to happen. It would be a great thing to see Korea as a whole country again. I've only heard that they were a whole country once, in history books and such. That may not happen any time soon but it's a nice thought.
My First concern from NBC News today, "<Secretary of State> Pompeo on Monday said in return for the assurances by North Korea,"the president has committed to making sure that we alter the armistice agreement,.."

To allow what?

2nd) The bodies of over 200 MIA and deceased POWs have not yet been received nor have US personnel been taken to where the corpses were disposed of, and just how long should that have taken? 2 days maybe.

However we have indeed cancelled our participation in the August maneuvers..
What happened 26 years ago?
Mr Ooby

"Even Though... I Know..... That You Know"

"That The.... "26"......... Was A Typo?"

"It Actually Shouldve Read 66 Years"

"Or Closely Within That Range"

(Meaning............ Since The Armistice Was Signed"

("Between North Korea.......South Korea.... And The Allies")

"Id Hope This Does Satisfy"

Nam, I really never thought of a typo considering the education level of the OP. I figured she knew something I didn't know so I subtracted 26 from 2018 and got 1993 and I did a google search of major world events which occurred in 1993. Nothing that came up had any relevance to North Korea in that year so I decided to ask.
