Within Seconds..Half Of The Commanders Head Was Blown Off

Now...The V C Brought In A Second Battalion...For They New That The Americans Could Not Summon Artillery.... Because Both Sides Were To Close Together
If You Were In The Shade?...You Were Safe....If In The Light?....You Eventually Were A Dead Or Wounded Soldier
The Massacre Continued For Hours...Until...And All Of A Sudden.........Everything Went Silent
For Reasons Found Out Much Later...The V C Were Suddenly Ordered .....To Stick To Their Original Orders...And Were Told To Move Out
If It Wasnt For The V Cs Order To Stick To Their Original Orders...And To Depart The On Going Massacre?
Not An American Would Have Survived
After When It Was Over...64 Young Boys....... Were Dead
And The Rest?.....Just About Every Last One That Was Left Alive?...Was Wounded
This Massacre Happened Because Of Purely Coincidental Circumstances Of A Chance Meeting
Let Us Not Forget The Sacrifice Of The 57,00 To 58,000 Young Men...And Some Women Medical Nurses... That Were Sent Or Went To Vietnam..And....In Most Cases?...Not Because They Wanted To Go

Looking closer at the weapon being held; it looks like a Carbine. I carried to different rifles while in the Marine Corps. First was an M1 and then later a Carbine!
