Wear your burqa, I'm your victim

"The face is your passport. When you refuse me to see you, I am a victim." — Jacques Myard, a former conservative MP who supported the ban in France."

Really?

Well 8 countries in Europe ban it.

Maybe this banning of the burqa by 8 countries in Europe is the beginning of a realization that it's not good to insist on wearing them.

Yet I'm sure opposition is in the high nine.
If it's a good thing why ban it?
Let's hope they will ban the Bible also.

It spreads the ideology of HATE.

France being SECULAR

Hopefully they will.

And may other countries follow.

Hopefully the rest of the world.
Why ban it?

Because people are afraid and associate it to a negative.

But are not ok with restrictions limiting their faith and choices.
I fear the HATRED in the bible.

History is full with the atrocities of the chrestians.
We all secretly hate what we fear and we fear what we do not understand.
Miss LJ
Fear-mongering does not constitute the loss of religious rights I dissent due to the my credence that people have the right to practice whatever religious notions however outlandish or different from the credence emanate from your own.

The burqa is a religious item. People have the right especially in UK, at least, on that almost holy sheet of paper to practice their religion in the way that they see it fit. The only reason a religious practice should not be sanctioned is if it breaches someone else's rights. The main rights being life, liberty, and property(pursuit of ecstasy)

I have never seen or heard that by wearing burqa has taken someone's life, liberty, or property. So the only thing you and the so stated countries, are the one who fears the burqa, lose is ease of mind. Ease of mind is neither a natural right or a right at all. So in this case the only rights being contravened is the one wearing a burqa.
Would you relish it if someone told you not to do something you optate to do? Wearing religious apparel enables people to demonstrate their faith, individuality and originality. Being able to demonstrate ones faith is a rudimental right that everyone is entitled to without being discriminated, queried or looked down upon,

So this is just blatant discrimination against Muslim the societal body.
I asked for that conversing laugh
Mercedez that is a good one.

I won't I promise. I don't wear them most of the time.rolling on the floor laughing
I agree with you Ms. Unfortunately the 8 countries in Europe, Denmatk being the last one, don't share your opinion,
Miss browser I agree with everything you say. Unfortunately 8 countries in Europe, Denmark being the latest don't share your opinion.
I couldn't care less about the bible being banned. The old testament has many questionable provisions that I'm opposed to.

The new testament about Jesus doesn't have a single hint that promote hate, or killing. If anything it proves that evil acts are condemned.
Well make sure there's no reason to get it banned then.
You ask for hate literature in the bible....

I give it to you...

And you remove it ! Twice!!

How chrestian of you?
The way, you're quoting the old testament.
Did you read my post? The old Testament are questionable.

Jesus taught nothing but peace and love.

This is about burqa not religii6.
This is not about the bible, which I don't care.
You don't believe in free speech then huh?

Only when you agree with it.

That ain't free speech Phyllis.
I'm not into bible discussion.
Keep fooling your deluded self.

I said, I'm not in favor of any old Testament provisions.

They're not worth reading.

Jesus is another story.
Jesus wore a burka.

Says so in the Boble.

I can show the verse in the Boble but Phyllis will remove it again.

heart wings
Yes but Jesus didnt have a history of terroism
In America!
Clearly you have been reading the "bobble" !
Ohhhhh

Im saying we have had acts of terror in America by ppl whose religion wear tht attire and we dont have to agree on religion but we should not have to pretend it doesnt make people uncomfortable just like im sure

Have we made peace Jedi?
Autocorrect....

Have we made peace Jada ?
Jada, these people do not actually represent the religion. So you punish the people who do represent it.

This is where people cannot seperate the difference. That is like saying all priests are peados. Because some of them are. That is as wrong as banning people from wearing a burqa.

The minority, does not maketh the majority.
I can understand that Jada
I have a lot of chrestian friends.

So i know the impact 911 had on America.

Some people don't seem to understand the effects of 911 maybe it's because nothing bad happens or has happened anywhere else in the world.

So it's hard to identify I guess?
I wish they would ban socks and sandals...seriously my eyes feel assaulted every time they have to look upon that monstrosity.......help
