Men and women---legal age to marry in different places...

Youngest here in the USA was once 10 years, two decades ago, but no longer legal there. Now 18, typically, but 14 in many places under some conditions. Still possible elsewhere at such tender ages, ofter by family arangement. I think 30's and up would be best, if one really must enter the dying Institution. Why spoil a perfectly loving commited relationship?

In tracing my ancestry I found a marriage back in the early 1800's where one of my Aunts and Uncles had gotten married where she was 14 and he was 15.
Yep, B. I grew up among several ethnic minorities, and such unions.were not uncommon.
A lower age-of-majority was necessary in times and places when most people did not live past 40. But now, thanks to "higher education," you can be a kid for 20 years and more.
Yep, K. And happy 4th. I know kids in their 90's---not all bad.
