a brilliant solution

i just thought of it. rather then build a wall, why don't the people complaining, switch places with the ones who want to cross our borders illegally? then the complainer can put their mouth to work on the country that is being fled and maybe work for a change making those people not want to leave? it costs the government no money if both pairs of shoes fit agreeably

And you call it brilliant?

First there's a law that control everything we do, which part of illegal entry you don't understand? Are you for real?
Mrs Jones you are not American by birth so how did you get your green card ?
being an american by birth. the first thing that is handed to me is the responsibly of protecting MY con trey . i have not the responsibility of the bad things others have done in the past. and keeping people out that will harm my nation is what ill do to protect my loved ones . in the early 70s i went half way around the world to try to help people be free from evil doers. had to package 6 of my buddy's in body bags. one was friend i grew up with.
So busboys, roofers, crop pickers, landscapers, dishwashers and other low wage earners hurt the country ?
I get what you're saying palm...empathy so maybe people can see why these people flee.....cheers
The settled refugees easily forget their own efforts to make a better life, and don't want others to do the same. Petty jealousy really.

I wonder if the people realise how much extra they'll have to pay for fruit and vegetables, and housekeepers etc. If it goes ahead.
If you had the chance to walk one mile,
Just one in my shoes,
Do you know how you would feel inside?

The answer is those that want a wall, don't care. But I certainly loved the idea OP.
...building that wall creates jobs... tearing it down later will create more jobs....

...it`s a win-win situation....dunno

cool wine
Palmford I would use the the/phrase. say walk a mile in my shoes and see how one likes it.

Some Americans have no idea on how my Native American ancestry lived and are still living today.
Easy to justify hatred when wrapped up in politics.
i admit, i was bored so i filled the bowl with kibble and rang the dinner bell. there is nothin' like politics to draw out the hungry.
