Singing Words Of Wisdom...

Often, when trying to express a point, one reverts to the wisdom of ancient philosophers.

I have recently, however, come across a quote by the late great Leonard Cohen:

“If you don´t become the ocean, you´ll be seasick every day”

In fact, we are not a “drop” in the ocean – We ARE the ocean.
We are all droplets disconnected from the ocean... infinite awareness, knowledge and wisdom.

It´s difficult to realise this, if you can only see it full of sharks. uh oh hmmm

Something for us all to ponder over.

Sharks are more hunted, than being the dreaded hunter
One has to see beyond the popular conception of beings to know their true selves
Sharks have their place … It's not always about the 'water'.

We are part of a much bigger picture.

Hmmmmm well in the CS ocean the sharks tend to swim among their packs usually being led and misled
It is true it seems we are droplets disconnected and scattered at times on a never ending search of connection.
Perhaps in our stubborn ways we choose not to believe the cup is half full. There will always be those who will see it half empty.
Evaporation is the ocean. The ocean evaporates. Our perspire moisture ends up in the ocean. The ocean vapour ends up in us. True fact. peace
Hiya Molly wave As I always said: there are more sharks out there than there are in the sea! laugh
Hello Abagail, welcome to my blog wave

Yes, "part of a bigger picture", that´s right. thumbs up
Hello Daniela,

Nice to meet you. Thank you for the welcome.
Doc. Sharks in the ocean do not live in "packs", or groups, but tend to live on their own. Therefore, they do not have a social hierarchy.

One thing we know about sharks at least we know their motivation and what they seek
People on the other hand are much more complex.
Hello Daers wave

Thanks for elaborating. thumbs up So, according to your description, it confirms that we ARE the ocean.
Abagail, couldn´t help having a peep at your profile.... I just love the things you wrote. smitten

Maybe you should also visit Spain and I´m sure you´ll find something that will also touch your soul and inspire you?bouquet

I was only referring to the CS sharks not the ones that swim in the ocean
Daniela, some people see every fish as a shark
Thank you, Daniela … I was in Spain last year in August. smile It's a beautiful country … in many ways it's very like Australia. Although the heat was difficult to adjust to... before going there I had spent time in Scotland... their Summer of course, but I was used to being cold .. .flying to Spain had my senses reeling.
Doc. " was only referring to the CS sharks not the ones that swim in the ocean"

Abagail, Spain like Australia? wow But... we don´t have wild vegetation and animals like you do.

The heat at the moment... it´s in the 40C - much too hot for me!
And to think that I used to enjoy shark fin soup.

I’m sorry sharks blues sad flower
Mimi..comfort But you have the whole ocean to enjoy. smitten
Yes, the two countries are very alike. Well other than language... but visually it certainly reminded me of Australia. It makes sense that we have a few similarities.

I went to Portugal as well and I really loved Portugal. smile
I´ve never been to Portugal but I guess it must be greener? And I know that the sea is colder as it is the Atlantic ocean.
