Gender Identification - What does that even mean?

Gender Identification

What the heck does that even mean?
So you were born as a boy but you identify as a woman.
Wrong
Either you were born with a (I bet you think I'm going to say something that rhymes with 'trick' don't you?) Y chromosome, or you were not born with a Y chromosome.
It's as simple as that.

If you walk into a doctor's office and ask the doctor to remove a perfectly good leg because you want to be identified as a one legged person, the doctor would say that you are nuts and throw you out of his office.

However if you are a man and walk into a doctor's office and tell him that you want him to remove a perfectly good p*nis because you want to identify yourself as a woman, he would have you referred to a therapist to see if you are mentally ill or gender dysphoric.

You would then go through hormone injections to lose hair on the face and enlerge the breasts.

You would then go through the process of changing your name and ID cards to make it look as if you are living as a woman.

All along you still have a p*nis and all of your Y chromosomes that you were born with.

Now you are considered 'Transgendered' but you are still a man.

You cannot claim that you are a female when you are born as a man.

Ben Shapiro makes the argument in the video below.

So in the end, if your name right after birth was Robert, and you want to be called Rebecca, then that's your right. However as long as you have that Y chromosome, well then sorry, you are still a male like it or not.

Stringman = Bingo You nailed it !!!peace
Just mental health issues of people who have not got enough to do . Made worse by sickly white liberals forcing their own insecurities on their children , a group of people who should have their children taken from them as they are a risk to their children . Any one thinking it is normal certainly is not .
I'm not in favor of the body adaptations and surgery.
but the brain scans do proof there are differences.
but I'll prefer a biological female xy. i don't care about men who claim different gender.
People should just accept each other and also themselves like they are.
like the above poster said, not feeling like a man doesn't make you a woman.
why refuse a label, and immediately try to get another one.
I wonder if you've ever come into contact with someone struggling with this. Probably not.
Were you exposed to the pain they go through? A good friend of mine's son has just started the process of transitioning and it's hugely traumatic for everyone but mostly for the young man. Some people are simply born into a body that they cannot relate to and it's very very sad.
I saw him about 4 years ago. He looked every bit the young man he was. I have not seen him as Rebecca except for a few pictures my sister showed me. His brother stays away from him. It's a difficult and delicate family situation.
It's extremely difficult. What a shame his brother stays away from him, he needs all the support he can get. My friend, trying to get the help her son needed, said...."I don't want to bury my son in a dress but that's how desperate this is for him" blues
I did this blog a little more that a week and a half ago. I didn't intend for it to ne about my relative, just about what Mr. Shapiro says in the video. I just found it interesting.
Apologies, I only saw it today and it brought my friend to mind.
That's OK. It is what it is.
Yeah....
It might be weird for us, Len but it's terrible for those going through it.
Len05, you started off right. Not accepting your own body isn't just weird, it's maladaptive. Maladaptive behavior is not sane and should be treated not condoned; but, of course, the psychologists are still as off the beam as Freud was.
