You can't have your cake and eat it.
I'm sure one or both of the above answers your question.
You can't have your cake and eat it.
I've heard that saying all my life but not once understood it. If I have cake, you can bet I'm going to eat it, why else would I have it?
Try meeting people somewhere else, outside of dating sites (in real life or virtually - if you like to travel - join travelling sites, etc), make friendships first, without much expectations...
Dating sites are pretty forced and a little unnatural way to meet someone, actually.
