Grizzly.... The coupons were the time waster.
I come out with a non political blog about something as vanilla as a trip to the dollar store and your first comment is negative and then you get all hoity toity. Just wow.
However, it seems the issue that really bothered you the most, was time.
When I am behind someone with a LOT of items, and I only have a couple,
I will hold them out in front of me with one hand, arm bent, about chest high,
so that person can clearly see, that I only have a couple of items.
Often they will volunteer, "why don't you go in front of me."
If they don't ask me, sometimes I will ask them, depending upon how much of a hurry I am in.
Most of the time, when I do ask, they say "sure, go ahead".
Then I thank them immediately and also after I pay the cashier.
