2FER aka Buy one get one FREE...
I shop for grocery deals in a few different places. The one place I avoid is Costco. I'm not saying you cannot find deals there, it's the quantity purchasing that doesn't work for me.My wife and I aren't big consumers. For example, a 7 pound container of granulated garlic would harden in the package before I could use it up. I do buy a medium size garlic and refill the small round shaker jars, but I know my limit. I forgot that dehydrated parsley is actually green. I tossed out a container where it looked brown like oregano.
Now... here's the catch. I like potato chips, but limit my intake because of the salt content. So what do you do when you come upon the extra large party bag and the sign reads: Buy 1 get 1 FREE
answer: buy it.
Entenmann's baked good are some of the tastiest you can find anywhere.
When the all butter loaf (pound) cake goes on sale... It's the 2fer one I cannot resist!
Thanks for reading my blog!

I had to back off BOGO's because when I went to pack for the move a few months back I discovered I had turned into a food horder. I was ashamed at how many duplicate, triplicat or six plus items of the same thing I had because when it is bogo in the store, I couldn't remember if I had it at home. sheesh. I keep my cabitnets a lot less stacked which is ironic since I have soooo much more room, I just don't want to horde.
During the summer months I don't do too much baking but looking forward to when the cooler months arrive so I can go back baking again.
