if above aint working ... cry,beg , make crazy promises of wild ,expensive destinations ,...just dont take her shoe shopping
Once you start lying and manipulating - you have to do it forever. There's no "(s)he loves me, so now I can show my true self and (s)he will keep loving me".
No matter what you want, get him to think it was his idea in the first place, and it will happen
By the way not many people get what they want. How do they deal with it?

You are very funny!
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
I guess sooner or later all people must accept the fact that they will not get everything (most) they want in life and adapt.

I liked the advice given in "Downton Abbey" :
Marry a man you like enough, but not too much!
A VERY good advice!
You can have anything you want but not everything
But you can also do some pillow talking - preferably during the foreplay! - then he'll agree to anything... "umm..yes..yes...Yes.."
It is not a question of the "universe giving us what we need, and not what we want"
Since we create our own reality, it's up to US to manifest what we want by attracting it into our life by transmitting positive energy.
The "universe"', or whomever, might send us people along the way to point out these things and guide us, but it's up to the individual to take it on board, or reject it.
That's my 2 cents.
