Breaking the product to get it out of the package...
Seriously, I get it. You manufacture products that are sold in pilfer-proof packages. Unfortunately, the consumer needs special tools to get the package open without destroying it's contents.Computer memory sticks, for example. Small devices that are probably easy to steal, so they come with a plastic cover that requires scissors to open the package.
Probably the worst I've found are the products that are 'encased' in a 2 part thick plastic case that has a hard curled heat formed edge that is sealed all the way around. I have to use metal cutting shears to get those things open at a risk of sharp edges to 'get you' as you remove the product from the case.
Stores in the Unites States have very liberal return policies and usually ask no questions when returning goods... broken or not.

That way, if they break it, you'll already be in line and they can have someone bring another.
I've seen where most electronics with what they refer to as being spider wire on certain electronic items which are removed by the stores employers with a special wrench type thing.Bought a new tv and watched as a stored removed the spider wire.
I fully understand about certain items you purchase can easily break while removing it.Just hunt down a store clerk to open it for you.Or else do what I saw a customer do is get on thee store pa system and say that a customer needs help and that you are the customer.
