Message of Light 1

Messages of Light are emailed to me from my dear friend Angelyn who is a master at many spiritual things. She is an Angelologist and these reflect messages she receives from Angels. ENJOY!!

Dear Ones; It is important for you to be in love with the moment. Each moment is vital to inner growth, to share, and be one with light and love. It affects your life as a whole, it affects you. Your life is a succession of moments and each is to live, each is to succeed. What moments are you choosing to live, what moments make you happy. For all your moments should make you happy. When you live in the moment you are truly living within the person you have become. If you are not living for the happiest moments, then chose your happiness. Now more than ever in this life, chose to be happy. You can not live for moments that happened in your past. Those are gone, and the future has yet to be created. Live for today. The moment of each day, the life you choose to live is your own. Be happy, be the love you are, and the love you want to give. I love you all ~ AA Jophial ~

Please use your discernment with these messages,
and pass along to anyone you think might benefit.

Religion as Irrelevant

Religion as Irrelevant
by Deepak Chopra

The way of peace doesn’t claim that God must be a pacifist. The gulf between pacifist and warmonger belongs in our psychology, not in the nature of God. Divine schizophrenia can be overcome by seeing certain spiritual truths and holding on to them.
God isn’t a person. We cannot read his mind. The essence of God is consciousness. Consciousness can be used for either violence or peace; the choice is ours.
When it is expanded, human consciousness chooses non-violence since that is compatible with love.
If these principles are valid, then God doesn’t have to jump into the middle of human affairs. He stands for the pure essence of life and love. For me to solve my personal anguish over war, I must transform my consciousness until violence is no longer an option. By now this is a familiar argument. Millions of people understand it. Why should religion hold back?
It shouldn’t. It doesn’t have to. If any religion would make the same choice to join the way of peace that individuals are making every day, faith would be a living force once again. What kind of changes does this entail? You already know them as they apply to you, but let’s be explicit.
Religion must place the responsibility for violence squarely where it belongs, in the mind of every person. It must stop judging others outside the faith as sinners condemned by God. It must stop defending war in any way. It must stop claiming to be the one and only path to God. It must give up its arrogance and claim to authority. It must renounce its covert greed and desire for power. It must discover how to return love to its true place of primacy.
These changes may not occur in our lifetime, but we cannot pretend that they are merely optional.

dead and gone

hello friends at cs,it's me dondon67.yes it is the title of a great song.TI talks of change of actions, ways of thinking, and of lifestyle.well i'm now at the same cross-road but in a different light.for me it is past emotions,missed-up relations, and the thinking of what i thought love was.you see friendsjust when you put list and rules on what the someone should be or not be,then you miss out on a good thing.you can't take someone and put he or she in a perfect little box in your world because he or she has got to be this or that.evenif you veiw the menu and place the order it still gets messed up.you see no-one on earth is perfect yes i said no-one.if you do not put things in order it will not work, you have start with you and get your mind right.you need to work on you and have a plan, then your heart has to be in the right place also.things you can't control give it to god and let him fix it.and you have to change the playing field and expand your veiw.keep fishing in the same murky dark water, you keep catching the same stinky fish.change the bait and move to a different pond, you see i did that and i prayed for what i need not what i wanted.and just like a shot to the ear hole of a helmet,blind-sided he lead me right to her.never crossed my mind to look at her in that light but now i can't even think of nothing but her and her in my life.she is coming to visit, and i don't share sorry.he may come when you call but when he does it is always right on time,he may not give you what you want but it is always what you need.thanks to all whom have been here since jump street, god bless dondonangel handshake peace

Movie Review - Fever Pitch

Last night I watched a movie that I had not seen prior. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. What initially attracted me to picking it out was two aspects; baseball and Drew Barrymore. So, I began to watch it with a positive bias, I guess. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't think Drew is a great actress and I don't think she's all that pretty either. However, to me she's got a likable quality to her. Somehow, I've always felt she would make a good friend, or something. I don't know. Baseball on the other hand has been an interest of mine even before women were. It's still my favorite sport.

Anyway, in the movie, Drew (Lindsey) is matched with Jimmy Fallon (Ben). She is a successful hard working business woman, while Ben is a school teacher, who is also a devout Red Sox fan and a box seat season ticket holder, who never misses a game.

The timing of the movie is 2003 (movie made in 2005), and it follows the truly amazing Red Sox season, where they won the wildcard slot and down 3 games to 0 in the playoffs to the Yankees came back to not only defeat them 4 games to 3, but then go on to defeat the Cardinals for their first World Series Championship in 86 years. It truly marked a dramatic change in the franchise's history and demeanor.

The movie focuses on Drew (Lindsey) & Jim's (Ben) budding relationship during this amazing season and how they adapt and compromise in an effort to overcome their many differences and embrace their common desire to make it work. However, as the Sox season unfolds and the excitement is brought to a fever pitch, can the relationship overcome and survive Ben's love of the game and does he love it more than her ?

I found the movie charming, sweet, funny and endearing. While I doubt any Red Sox fan, or indeed any baseball fan would dislike this movie, I feel most people would enjoy it, even if they don't like baseball. I give it 6 1/2 stars out of 10 and this is a movie that is very safe to show kids. Enjoy ! peace

Long Distance romance

In my love life, I have mostly stuck close to home. I had only one somewhat long-distance relationship-150 miles. Its too bad that the practical difficulties of long-distance are intimidating, since there are some really hot-looking women here who live far from my own North America. I am curious to know if anybody has tried the long-distance thing and made it work.

Triumph's & Disasters

I was watching the above named TV programme tonight and it brought back memories of the day the space challenger blew up. I was up state New York skiing when the news broke. Feeling helpless like so many others I scribbled down a few lines as I watched it over and over again been showing on all the different TV channels. To my amazement it was published in 14 newspapers, President Regan requested a copy and also suggested I send a copy to Christa MaCauliffe's family which I did. She was the first teacher ever to attempt to go in to space.

It was a dark and dull day, I'm sure you will agree
Seven great hero's of the USA lost their lives with dignity
The launch was at a standstill because of nature and the fog
And when the countdown started, many hearts began to throb.

For their loved ones were about to go,
to an unknown distant land
Far beyond those dark dull sky's below,
their lives were in Gods hands.

5,4,3,2,1 blast off and away they go,
drifting in to space keeping up with the flow
Ground control to Challenger we all heard that strong voice say
You can now increase to full throttle speed
and good luck on your way

It was moments after the words he spoke
The Space Challenger went up in smoke
A bang was heard and smoke was seen
The Sky's were filled with an ugly green
The people below hung their heads in horror
As the 7 parents watched on in sorrow

For their loved ones were all dead and gone
But memories still linger on and on
And Christa MaCauliffe first teacher to fly
Left many a child with a tear in their eye

Help!! I'm surrounded by a male chauvinist p--s!

I need your help, good people of CS.

I am co-owner and director of a company that's in a male-dominated industry - auto repair. I was brought in to help save the company from ruin because the guys who were running it were very disorganised. Accounting, HR, CSR - all in a mess. I came in and cleaned everything up, includng their image. Now that they're seeing improvements, they're making decisions without my input. Our suppliers are bypassing me and going directly to the guys who got the company in trouble in the first place.

I know very little about auto repair and I never interfere in their area of expertise. But they're lousy at the administrative stuff and that's my strength.

How do I assert myself and stop these guys from butting in and undermining me? I have a lot (money and time)invested in this company.

Thanks.

Our Date :)

I dream about a loving day,

I dream about a tender night,

When I’ll say more, then you may say

In oscillating candle light.

I dream about our date,

About tenderness and love,

When we’ll drink wine and sit too late,

As angels will asleep above…
