Finished my new book rather quickly, too quick, although a brilliant take again, by Plato, one among the most influential philosophers in western history.

In these books, Plato presents his thoughts through series of dialoges between different characters, to present various aspects of a philosophical problem. The goal of the Symposium is to discover the ultimate manifestation of the love that controls the world, leading to a hoped-for mystic union with the eternal supercosmic beauty. Phaedrus contains a discussion of the psychology of love, resulting in the concept of the familiar Platonic "forms" as objects of transcendental emotion.
