Book Comments & Discussion

JADRANSKI
I read A. Toffler since time ago. His books are of socio-scientific content, warning us about the incoming changes (some of them already on place) on the whole society.

The third wave means the accumulation of persons from all around the world, with a certain level of conscience, working to build the future. After the first wave (discovering of fire) and the second (industrial revolution), the Third one has completely new features, as it is made from the sum of millions of efforts and personal attitudes, and coming from worldwide spread sources and not just from a single country, sector, group or region.

Even if I do not agree completely with the conclusions, I found very reasonable the principles exposed and the analysis done.I believe it helps to understand how new technological advances, the possibilities of communication, the lack of resources, lead to new ways to plan strategies, conflicts, and the progressive transformation of the world that we knew since kids in something completely different and with more powerful capacities.
