I have had my book for several years already. I think since 1995, or so!
This however is a revised edition that has new information about new additives, colourants and flavourants being used in the food industry coded in E Numbers - making the long (chemical) names shorter and easier to be remembered!

This is a reference manual, style book!

Recommended for anyone serious about what they eat.


Does anyone remember the GIGO Rule, from the Computers?
- "Garbage In Garbage Out".

Storyline

Cracks the 'E' number code and enables you to understand the lists of additives that appear on the packs of the food you buy, so that you can see exactly what has been added, where it comes from, why it has been added, what it does to the food and - if anything - what it might do to you.
