A Cuddle for Little Duck is a lovable picture book.  Toddlers and preschoolers will enjoy this book immensely.  It is a rhyming story, one that little ones will want to read time and time again.  The cute story is about a little duck and what happens during the course of a day.  It begins with the duck waking up in the morning and carries on with the adventures he encounters that day.  Caroline Pedler does a superb job with the large, colorful illustrations.  These lively pictures will encourage youngsters to participate actively in the story and to ask questions. 

Boys and girls, ages one through three will be enamored by this gorgeously illustrated book.  The pictures include many wonderful things that children enjoy, such as a dragonfly and a leaping frog that looks like he could leap right through the page.  The rhyming text is just long enough to hold and keep a toddler's attention.  It begins with Little Duck and his mom waking up in the morning and ends with the duck cuddling on Mommy's back and falling asleep.  This book is a perfect bedtime story.

The cover shows Little Duck on Mommy's back.  The fur looks so soft and tempts you to touch it yourself.   Adorable scenes accent every page.  Bright, bold colors are used in the delightful illustrations. 

A Cuddle for Little Duck is a cheerful story that parents will enjoy sharing with their children.  Boys and girls will relate to Little Duck frolicking, giggling and playing with his duckling friends.  It makes a lovely birthday or Christmas gift for a toddler or preschooler.  As well, A Cuddle for Little Duck is an appropriate baby shower gift for the expectant mom.
