Philosophos
After the Christian Bible, Homer's Iliad was the second most read work in the world, being part of the universal tradition.
The aoidói - a kind of artist or bard - sang according to their o*al traditions, until finally the verses were compiled, divided and organized even before Christ and maintained until today its old form (although having the option for the prose or the verse).

Although in a more restricted context of "The Wrath of Achilles", the scenario of war brings all the wealth and difficulty of the human condition, the decisions, dilemmas and innumerable values as ancient chivalry, friendship, honour, pride, destiny and choices.

And truly Achilles - and all the heróis - were never forgotten.

Original and essential classic.
