My Christmas day read.
I've discovered another North Yorkshire policeman writing books.
This one's about his days growing up in the area and it brought back a few of my early memories from a slightly earlier period.
A very good, humorous, entertaining read.
And apparently either Mike or his wife (depending on where you read it) is a cousin of the late Nicholas Rhea (Peter N. Walker) author of the marvellous 'Heartbeat' books... and many more.
