Great story! Recommend reading the comic before watching the movie. Both are great!

RE: Brian Greene: The Elegant Universe

Interesting but we are always thinking that we 'understand' the universe then it all changes. Always.

RE: stephenie meyer: twilight saga

George R.R. Martin: A Song of Ice & Fire: Books 1-5 (Game of Thrones)

The best series of books and the best TV show (HBO in the states), I have read and watched in a long time! Book 6, The Winds of Winter, is tentatively scheduled to come out in 2014. However, George RR Martin is a notoriously slow writer, so the book may not come out as scheduled.

The HBO Series: Game of Thrones: Season 4, is scheduled to return to the airways in May of 2014. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the show should air on time.

If you are a man or a woman, you will enjoy this series! If you are a reader or a watcher or both, there's something for everyone! This is not a series that is suitable for children or early teens. These books and the TV show, is written and filmed with adults in mind. So be aware.

RE: Emily Brontë: Wuthering Heights

One of my all time favourite classics. Once you have read about Catherine and Heathcliff, you will never forget them. Haunting!

RE: Stephen King: 11/22/63

Good book! To me King had slacked off in recent years, but with this one he's back.

One of the best plays ever written...the televised version with Dustin Hoffman as Willy Loman was incomparable!

RE: Jon Krakauer: Into The Wild

they recently ran a story here in AK about a couple that was just rescued after being lost in the wilderness. they actually picked them up at the bus that is still there in the alaskan wilderness
it is a sad story but ANYONE who comes here to AK can easily see how much wilderness we have and it is not a secret how cold it can get. I wish someone would have sat that man down and tried to get him to see how dangerous it was before the tragic events that took his life. Hopefully the story getting out will stop someone else who is thinking about doing the same thing
