Thanks for posting some piccies Merri. Really enjoyed the dinner and such a pity I missed the flower show. I don't know if there was something wrong with my meal, (unlikely) but I was so crook this morning. Slept till noon and still feeling queasy this afternoon. Man, a weekend in Melbourne doesn't get any better than this! Had awesome dinner along the banks of the Yarra River, gorgeous restaurant, top food, and even better company
Just got back from Sat morning cruise along the river to Williamstown, cute, oldy worldy sea port, beaut weather. Lots of laughs with curly, micky, snagsmoore and ralf who just made it to the ferry, literally ran down the gangplank - talk about last minute you guys!
Couple of pics here, tonite's the nite guys.
Meeting a few people (anyone not already heard, come along) 5.45-6 pm at Y & J's, to go to Swanston St to get cheap n cheerful asian food from one of the many places along there. Then back there at 7.30 for the Real Deal.

Good morning Micky and allI am still thinking how lovely that resturant was last night. I cannot remember that last time that I got so much pleasure from a meal.
But last night was the bestest food..
enjoyed with the bestest of people.. so nice. joy:

FOUND HIM!! Met up with Micky today (and Curly) had a great day, been to top of tallest building, Eureka, 82? storeys, fantastic views of whole of city, well worth it. Lunch, walk along the river, then a round city tour on city circle free trams. Time for change before dinner by the Yarra

Woohoo!! I'm here! After a shaky landing,had to stay in a holding pattern for about 25 mins, very strong winds which looks like it has been followed by a tornado in NE Vic
Met the lovely Larf (beeautiful lady) dropped my bag at the hotel. Met up with Curly and her mate, had a yummy Thai lunch on Swanson St (think it was), Larf kindly dropped us over at South Bank where we had a walk and checked out the river cruises. Have booked one on Sat morning. Anybody want to join us it is $25 2 hr return ferry, stops at Williamstown where you can stay for an hour or more before getting the return back? Tel 9682 9555 to make a booking. Should be good. 10.30 am departure. Berth 1, Southgate, front of Langham Hotel (near white metal modern bridge? Wesgate bridge.

Yep, remembered my phone but left the darned charger behind!! Aaaagh. So I will have to have it switched off to save battery life as much as I can til I find one or get to Vodaphone to see if they will charge it for me. I will switch it on and off every couple of hrs to pick up calls?? Catch up with Micky The Man - later .... All good.
Due to cancellation of dinner Sat night we will just wander down to Chinatown or where we had lunch yesterday, lots of Asian foodies, very reasonable and $10-&15 and yummy.
