How's the weather up there?
1.30 mar2 - 10 lite snowing calm, cripes i might as well work at a remote gvmnt weather station. im already half way up a mountain, oh an the snow is about 3 feet deep.
Been very very very "occupied"...with finding a place to live, job orientation, dealing with the fantastic Whitehorse bus service (that's an oxymoron!)hmmm...oh yeah and it is a very wet, cold snow that will not stop!!! Almost feels like home! But life is better than good

It rained all night last night, all day today and more coming with snowstorm from the west. Walking is treacherous to say the least - have to find snow to grip on - or crawl. The streets and highways are like skating rinks - absolutely insane! If the snow hits, we are screwed.

I was watching a rabbit out in front of my house trying to get across to the neighbor's yard - apparently his traction on the ice is no better than mine....

Now that would be good for a giggle - poor thing. One can manage to walk around today - getting very sloppy, but they say the hiways aren't so great yet. All is fair to middling - so much to do before Friday and am beginning to think I am in some sort of reality spoof - crap keeps getting thrown directly in my path...but digging through and getting there!
