Nora Roberts also writes as JD Robb. I haven't read books yet under that pen name of hers.
I agree with you about the above authors, and will add Maeve Binchy and Morgan Llewellyn (celtic fiction of ancient celt life).
Also, if you want a really funny read, Carl Hiaasen is excellent.
