Life is not a straight path
Through hills and valleys
And switchbacks sundry
Life has twists and windings
And many stops and gos,
We walk this path,
A one-way swath,
Through Weather
Both foul and fair
And love and hate
Joy and sadness,
Wealth and glory
Perhaps even madness,
The forest obscures
The next turn in our
Journey, our path
Is unseen, but
There's no need to worry,
We'll get there,
All of us, in the end.
