I have lived in the city, grew up in the city, but turned country, Nobody tells me, your trash is in my yard, or your dog pissed on my tire, or your flowers are on my side of the fence, so i moved to the country and changed my ways of life.
I have found peace! Nature, deer and turkeys are my nearest neighbors, Kinda the old fashioned way of life, before the BIG Cities Ect.
Just wonder how many women accept, and like this kind of environment? and still not too far from town.

Hi In my profile it says that that kind of life is nice. It sounds dreamy to me. I do go on an occasional hike in the woods, but living here in the Nation's Capital, there are a not a lot of places like that to hang out.

Sounds like there may be some who want the country life, Larry, I guess Im asking the wrong ones
I love the country and would love to live in the country. I would however like to live near enough to a larger city. The best of both worlds. Not a really large city, but not a small town either. Something with decent shopping. Hey, a girl has to shop, right? I've had enough of small towns to last a lifetime.
A country boy can survive.....Don't fence me in .....It is a great way of life....and there are many women that enjoy that country Style of living..Green acres is the place to be... Watch the sunset and enjoy..
"Being from the Arctic, all I'd have to do is open my door and nature surrounds me. I love being at one with nature;the air is crisp and clean and,the scenery is beautiful!! We don't get out much during the long, cold winter months so,with spring coming,I'm looking so forward to that, all over again. However, this lifestyle can get to me sometimes; it's the isolation that get's to me.But,I'm very happy to live where I live."
I am only 8 miles from a college town, but I am in the hills and can't see more than a haze from the city lights on a clear night. Isolated, but close. An hour from Rochester, 1 1/2 hours or so to Minneapolis, 2 hours to Madison WI and about 4 hours to Chicago. Tons of timber to roam in, bike trails, trout fishing, conoeing, cross country skiing, etc.,etc.
I live in a city of 16,000 only one high school but am 45 min. from Watertown , Across the river is Canada and Ottawa is only 45 min. away and Monteral a couple hours I think, great fishing, and hunting and we can ride our snowmobiles right out of the city in most areas. We have it all really.

Hi
Well, for me, it's in my Profile. I am a Country Girl for open outdoors living. I hate City Life.
HealthyLiving: I grew up in the big city of Miami, Florida.
Now, I enjoy my little piece of Paradise!
I have 3 acres in the country. 7 miles to a small town, 35 miles to a larger small town and 1 hour from Oklahoma City.
Hey, I am right smack in the middle of the U.S.!! Anyway, I love it here, but wish I were a little further out. I love fishing, camping and everything that goes with it!
I have one advantage to being out further, That is i live on a dead end road. 19 acres surround by private property. I really like it here,
Thanks for the responses, It helps to see so many DO like that kind of living
