I have on occassion, but only when the lady agrees to be blindfolded....

i thought it was good for me , you see i do have a sense of humour lago, and have had some great nights out on blind dates , i dont like to spend to much money or to waste time on a first date so i sit them down buy them a drink then i ask straight out do you ...k if the answere is yes they get another drik if not i go home
I went on a blind date a couple of weeks ago. An English friend and his BG girlfriend invited me to dinner at a popular local restaurant. My blind date had been described to me as a nice, Russian lady. How old, I enquired. Oh, dunno, 40, 50 maybe. She's the mother of the girlfriend's teenage daughter's boyfriend. OK, sounds great.
By the way the daughter was there to interpret.
However, the lady was definitely not my type, was fairly thickset, had a cold, and smoked rather a lot throughout the evening.
So that didn't work.
However I have to say that I'm not against the idea in the slightest. It was still a congenial night out.

I had a similar experience recently...."fairly thick-set" would have been wildly complimentary tho....
on top of it, a second chin, and on top of that streaming with flu...in spite of sitting 2 seats away, I came down with a cold a week later...honestly, some people have absolutely NO idea....
