I don't vote in polls, but if the subject matter interests me then I will discuss it.
But yes, they are pretty tedious.

Why not do a poll about it? Sheesh...we go through this a lot on here. I do agree that there should be a daily limit on starting polls per person, though.

Well, I guess the same can be said about starting threads. It pushes everything else off page one.

I've often thought about that myself put a stop to the same mundane daily drivel
then quickly realised that certain members would probably invest in multiple computers 
not to mention multiple profiles just so they had some chance of keeping their numerous posts of droll drivel up 
I reckon the only chance of keeping the number of "polls & posts" is to operate the forums on an "open-part-time-policy" instead of "open-all-hours" as it is now

I've never seen any reason for the polls....just a simple question will do. It's not like the results are being tabulated and will be examined by an independent company for scientific studies or something!
