littlewolfnunya, Oklahoma USA10 Threads 526 PostsA true born again christian does not live under the old law,the new testament is what we live under,which is Grace given by Jesus when he was killed.There were a few martyed in the new testment,but there is nowhere its advocates killing.In fact it says if u hate ur brother without a cause,ur in danger of hell fire.The Old testament is given to us as a school master,to learn how things came about,and what not to do.We live under grace,not under the law, which is where all the violence was allowed.Under the law the sacrifice of bulls and goats did not change the heart.So Jesus came of his own free will because he was the perfect sacrifice,and he knew his blood could change the heart.He said I come not to do away with the old law but to fullfill the law.This all came via the Bible not utube.

I believe this is a nice simple way to explain it. I know there will be questions and challenges, but this is a nice start.

A true Christian (or any one that has actually bothered to read the bible) would know that in the new testament Jesus endorses the old testament in it’s entirety several times------ This thread is Archived ------
