I had an African Grey parrot when I was a young teenager, he was gorgeous and with my tuition (see, my English teacher role was pre-destined!)he spoke beautifully.But my horrible brothers were also teaching him to swear like a trooper!
It was weird, he would come out with nice expressions like hello, good morning, then suddenly start blaspheming!!

I felt but couldn´t work out which flat opposite it was coming from, and to tell you the truth I didn´t stay out there long enough to find out.
Today, it happened again, followed by......... "hola guapa" (hello beautiful)........ The parrot can now talk!
He is beautiful though, an African Grey.

Arent they gorgoeus, i had an afircan grey called Gorbi, and he was the same, decent stuff like hello or so, no way he would say arsehole or piss off . The culprit was my eldest son. Unfortunately he died of a virus, but i had almost 20 years of fun with the little guy.

Friends had a parrot - he was SO funny! He wolf-whistled, copied the cell-phone rings - and demanded the television be put on at exactly 6pm every evening ...running up and down the backrest of the sofa and screeching and swearing till it was turned on!
Somehow, he also knew the right words to say at the right times?
Like - "Don`t worry", "Hey Gorgeous!", "I`m HUNGRY!"

African Greys are lovely and soooo intelligent.....
My mom and parrots have some similarities, btw
