I guess it depends on what kind of site it is.
I pay a company £30/$45 per month.
My site appears in the top 3 or 4 on google if
you do a search for my product.

Most search engines allow you to post your web page for free. That came through for mine big time. But then again, I suppose it depends on what kind of market you're into.
