Snuggs09: Is the glass half empty or half full. How does it apply to your life?

To me, the glass is usually half full. It's your whole outlook on life. It reminds me of the saying... Smile & the world smiles with you. Frown & you frown alone.

I am alway trying to figure out what to do with all the stuff that will go into my glass. I have so much ongoing all the time and so little of the glass to fit it in. Life is very good even when it is providing me opportunities that I don't understand. I think we are all given goodness, sadness and everything inbetween. My glass is being filled to the top everyday. Once I find a lovely lady to help me with the glass, life will once again be perfect.

I think very very few people give the answer I do, in fact I have yet to meet one who does, though all agree with me when I give my answer to it...
Half full = optimist?? Half empty = pessimist?? I don't think either of those are very accurate in my experience of asking the question of people...
Half full = positive outlook (usually) Half empty = negative outlook (sometimes)
are more of what I have found fitting to those I have asked after knowing them for a while.
As for my own answer I am a literal person who does his best to see the entire picture so the glass is always full, 1 half water and one half air. This makes both halves full which in turn fills what the two halves are in so, the glass is simply always full in my mind. It is just a matter of seeing the balance of it all and how each part no matter what it is, comes together to make the whole.
I was going to not answer this until after letting it go a while but since I typed it all out, there it is.
Hi...You are ever so right about those days when you just want to break all the glasses. Sometimes it's difficult to turn the day around....such as today. It's raining, my boss is a pain in the butt, and I just want to go home and sleep.
My friends here don't know it...until now, that I deal with body pain every single day. Some days I can barely walk. Those are the days when the glass is empty....

The quote is beautiful example of how our perception of the world creates the kind of circumstances we find ourselves in.
Whatever you believe - is true! The universe around you will form itself into any configuration you believe it can/will/does. We are the creators! We are meant to grow old?? Our Body cells deteriorate?? I have never been able to do that?? I am too fat (anorexia)?? etc...etc...etc...
Whatever you believe - is true (for you, and your reality around you)
This stuff is all very 'old hat'. Mainstream, and not so mainstream science is apparently 'discovering' these same things. It is very old stuff.
