Im half Irish, half English, but consider Ireland my home..

Ireland is a beautiful country; a myriad of lovely, and quite often deserted beaches, rolling green countryside, quaint villages that are still unspoilt by tourism, excellent fishing, a relatively small population so there are STILL areas that are quiet and natural, a temperate climate so crops and flowers can be grown all year round..

Delightful restaurants by the sea and by the loughs, centuries of history and historical sites to explore..

A celtic spirituality that pervades the culture..

The only downside is the rain!! laugh

Come visit, everyone!!

The Lake District
The Peak District
The Yorkshire Dales
The North York Moors
The Cotswolds
The Fens
The Vale of York
Northunmbrian Coastline
The West Country
The South Downs
Salisbury Plain
The Welsh Marches (most of which is in England)
The Forest of Bowland

Geographically as diverse a place as you get, given
the comparatively small area.

Or should I pop over the border into Scotland
or Wales, the list goes on and on.
And all within a few hours drive from my front
door.thumbs up

Canada is a big beautiful country. There are different sceneries depending on which part you are in. I was born and raised in Ontario which has the best view of Niagara Falls. There is Bancroft which is the gem capital of Canada. I moved to Alberta 12 years ago and love it out here. If you like hills the Rocky Mountains are right here. We are certainly not crowded here.
My father was born in Ireland and moved here when he was a child. I would love to visit the island one ofthese days.
cheers
