There are a lot of great creative people who create something..When thinking about mouvies, exept classics, I prefer beautiful iranian cinematography, children cartoons with sense to it like 'Kirikou & the Sourceress' and documentaries.
Lately I`ve watched the russian mouvie called 'The island' and it blowed my mind..
Books. I don`t read as I used too. Maybe, Amelie Nothomb (the woman is everything but boring and not at least shalow) and Strinberg.
Picture, like art? children`s drawings and orthodox icons :)
Wedward, you haven`t told us your choice.I would like to hear

Whenever I go into an art museum, I always make a point to pick out one painting, among all the others, that I would want to take home with me....makes the experience more memorable that way....and it's usually a Matisse, a Bonnard, or a Vuillard...they were all colourists...and I'm a linear person...I think in black and white..

I like many types of art...love going to museums, love good films and literature...I don’t like to think in terms of favorites, but I suppose I do have them...I love Matisse—I went to an exhibit in London that explained about Matisse and his interest in textiles. When I travel, I travel lightly and often bring back as souvenirs some kind of textile; I also love tapestries which depict allegorical tales. My ‘favorite’ author is Doris Lessing, especially her five book series Children of Violence. I know less about film, but tend to like a lot of things, as long as it’s not the quintessential Hollywood idiocy.
