For a couple of reasons, the main one being a friend is very ill and may not get through the next 24 hours. I´ve been with other friends earlier this evening and we have cheered each other up a little, but now I´m home I cannot sleep.....and I need to because I have a class to teach tomorrow morning!

Say something to cheer me up please, everybody is asleep in my usual EU forum home!

Hey Jan. Try to recall one particular instance where you and your friend had a time where you were both laughing. Try to remember what made you laugh and why it was so funny. Then talk about it out loud. Maybe that will make you laugh! Good memories of great times should make you smile. Even if it's temporary, at least it's the thought of someone special, and a special time that continues to put a smile on your face.

My best to you and your friend. sad flower

You have to admit the tirade sounded better when it was exaggerated...tongue

Thanks FF, but there will be no good news, she is dying. crying And she is relatively young, as well as an incredible, intelligent woman.

I just wanted a little something to help me sleep.

Ah I'm sorry. Life can be very unjust. A good shot of whiskey might help with sleep.

Sorry Jan to hear such bad news. Its hard.

But on a positive note, I know a guy and he had a very severe car crash, he was rushed to hospital, they said that he may not make it through the next 24 hours.

He did, that was six years ago, there is not a bother on him today, he is married with kids.

Best wishes Janhug
