Signs and Wonders in the Heavens? ( Archived) (45)

Most have probably seen the news about the lights on the east coast by now. It got me thinking.

Joel 2:30-31 "And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD."

And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. (Luke 21:25-26)

Non-Christians can take part to, because there is much New Age talk about our Solar System "Crossing the Galactic Plane" near 2012. And of course the Mayan calendar.

In October 2007 we had Comet Holmes, which since it happened, NASA has been strangley quiet about. Much myth and legend surrounds comets in the ancient world.

" The astronomy world buzzed in the Fall of 2007 when Comet Holmes – a normally humdrum, run-of-the-mill comet — unexpectedly flared and erupted. Its coma of gas and dust expanded away from the comet, extending to a volume larger than the Sun.

Professional and amateur astronomers around the world turned their telescopes toward the spectacular event. Everyone wanted to know why the comet had suddenly exploded. The Hubble Space Telescope observed the comet, but provided few clues. And now, observations taken of the comet after the explosion by NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope deepen the mystery, showing oddly behaving streamers in the shell of dust surrounding the nucleus of the comet.

The data also offer a rare look at the material liberated from within the nucleus. "The data we got from Spitzer do not look like anything we typically see when looking at comets," said Bill Reach of NASA's Spitzer Science Center at Caltech. "

They are silent because their entire theory of what exactly is a comet is WRONG.

I only threw Red Elk in there to show that there is widespread interest in this subject - I only said I found it interesting - mainly about the earth changes. Not the mythology.

And don't forget about Prophet Yahweh, the guy that can summon UFO's on command.

About the moon being turned to blood. I heard an interpretation once - flesh and blood man has been to the moon - some debate that although. According to Dr Deagle, we already have permanent bases there.

But the more probably it refers to the blood red color the moon takes during an eclipse.

Thus, Biltz began focusing on the precise times of both solar and lunar eclipses, sometimes called “blood moons” since the moon often takes on a bloody color. He logged onto NASA’s eclipse website which provides precision tracking of the celestial events.

He noted a rare phenomenon of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, known as a tetrad.

He says during this century, tetrads occur at least six times, but what’s interesting is that the only string of four consecutive blood moons that coincide with God’s holy days of Passover in the spring and the autumn’s Feast of Tabernacles (also called Succoth) occurs between 2014 and 2015 on today’s Gregorian calendar.

“The fact that it doesn’t happen again in this century I think is very significant,” Biltz explains. “So then I looked at last century, and, believe it or not, the last time that four blood red moons occurred together was in 1967 and 1968 tied to Jerusalem recaptured by Israel.”

He then started to notice a pattern of the tetrads.

“What’s significant to me is that even before 1967, the next time that you had four blood red moons again was right after Israel became a nation in ‘48, it happened again in 1949 and 1950 … on Passover and Succoth. You didn’t have any astronomical tetrads in the 1800s, the 1700s, the 1600s. In the 1500s, there were six, but none of those fell on Passover and Succoth.”

When checking the schedule for solar eclipses, Biltz found two – one on the first day of the Hebrew year and the next on the high holy day of Rosh Hashanah, the first day of the seventh Hebrew month. Both of these take place in the 2014-2015 year.

Biltz says, “You have the religious year beginning with the total solar eclipse, two weeks later a total lunar eclipse on Passover, and then the civil year beginning with the solar eclipse followed two weeks later by another total blood red moon on the Feast of Succoth all in 2015.”

“If you think that this is a coincidence, I want you to know that it’s time!” exclaimed Prophecy in the News host J.R. Church. “There are no more of these for the rest of the century.”

The prospect of eclipses pinpointing the time of Jesus’ return is getting mixed reaction in Christian circles…

“When He (Jesus) says you won’t know the day or the hour, He’s telling you it’s the Feast of Trumpets because that was known as the feast where no one knew the day or the hour that it would begin,” said Biltz…

Church stressed despite the information suggesting 2015 could be a pivotal time, “We don’t know that that will be the concluding year of the tribulation period … so we’re not setting a date and saying this is a warning. First, let's focus on the comet sightings. In 1996 and 1997, the skies over our Earth were visited with two remarkable comets. In both cases, these comets passed through the constellation called Perseus, crossing at right angles to each other over a particular star with an ominous name.

That star is named “Rosh Satan” in Hebrew, which means “Head of Satan.” It is also called Al Gol, or Al Ghoul, meaning “The Ghoul.” In ancient times, Perseus actually foreshadowed King David’s slaying of Goliath. In modern times, however, the death of Medusa signifies the much sought-after demise of another diabolical figure in history known as the Antichrist - whom Christ will one day utterly destroy.


Now, in the Christian view of these constellations, Perseus is an obvious allusion to Christ, while Andromeda is an allegory for Christ’s Bride, the True Church. Sadly, as long as she is mortal, Christ’s Bride is trapped in the flesh, and in the clutches of sin by Satan, and his demons. This can especially be seen in the figure of Cetus, and the bands that tie the two Fishes of Pisces representing the Two House Church of Judah (i.e. Messianic Jews) and Ephraim (i.e. Born-Again Gentiles) to Cetus’ neck.

In addition, anyone who has read the book of Revelation knows of the white horses that the saints, and Christ will ride to victory at the end of the Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 19:11-14). These white horses are depicted in the constellation Pegasus the Flying Horse, which appears above the signs of Pisces and Aquarius.

From this explanation of Perseus’ meaning, it can be seen how relevant its message is to believers awaiting Christ’s Second Coming. This is why the three comets that have passed through Perseus in the last decade seem to be signs that the end is near.

For example, on April 11, 1996, the Comet Hyakutake crossed over the star Al Ghoul in Perseus. Then, one year later - and on the same exact day - the amazingly brilliant Comet called Hale-Bopp crossed over the same star in the opposite direction, appearing to mark a giant “X” in the sky. Could this have been one of the celestial End Time signs that the Bible forewarns us about? (See Joel 2:30-31; Luke 21:25-26.) Could this unprecedented comet crossing possibly signify that we have reached that significant time in history?

Amazingly, Comet Holmes proceeded to draw a big retrograde loop through Perseus, and has already passed directly by its most prominent star known as Mirfak, meaning “He Who Helps.” In addition, Mirfak has occasionally been labeled “Al Genib,” meaning “The One Who Carries Away.” Before continuing, it pays to note here that the term Al Genib alludes to a hero who undertakes a daring rescue of a friend from imminent danger - and which could be a reference to the 2nd coming.

Now, the other bright star that the Comet Holmes will pass through - in early 2008 - is none other than Al Ghoul, a.k.a. Rosh Satan! Thus, it appears that Comet Holmes is gearing us all to look for the coming apocalyptic confrontation between our heavenly Helper and Rescuer, who is Christ, and our devilish adversary - the one infamously known as the Antichrist.

Now, let me add some fuel to the fire lighting this assumption by noting that - to the average astronomer - it seems highly unlikely that three bright comets would cross over the same constellation in less than a hundred years, much less the same exact star in a little over ten years!

This leaves me to draw only one conclusion: based on the meaning of Perseus, and Al Ghoul, God is telling sacred astronomers like myself that the time of Perseus confronting the Medusa is very near! In other words, the time when Christ will confront the Antichrist, and the terrifying events in the Bible’s book of Revelation are about to begin!
