searching??? it all depends on what i am searching for...
and truthfully, I don't give up.... I keep trying and trying at whatever it is that i am in "search" for until I am satisfied with the outcome...

Stopped searching for someone to date, when it just seemed to be a game. Just for myself, felt more like it was a game and it did not seem to matter if others got hurt. I just did not have the patience for the games.
Now I'm job searching
There are times, I'm searching for something (besides lost socks), and don't realize I'm doing it.
Hope you have happy searches no matter what they are.
i gave up on searching for socks to solve that problem i have made it policy to only buy white socks from wallmart. they are cheap and if not real good are at least handy,, at one period in my life i had nothing but black socks now i have nothing but white , in the middle of the night i can put my hand in to the box and grab two socks and have a pair <with minor differentses>, i dont need a perfect pair. the perfect pair that i have is not on my feet anyhow.
and i have not been invited to buckingham palace for a while ,so who cares ,, thus endith the sermon,,,, gordy the sillyfosifer ..

My ex after being apart for 5 years told me she quit searching for someone because she can't find a replacement for me . I was at the point of stopping to search because many people pretend to like or be something they're not . The only reason she ever became my ex was she didn't get a medication to help her cope with life . Violent actions took her over and I had enough . I saw her last night for the first time , she hugged me , shed tears , apologized and wouldn't let go of me . I told her that we need to remain friends . When you put your heart , body and soul into a relationship , you'd expect the same in return . So now I just sit quietly and figure people out and protect who I am as a person .

As for myself, my girls would love to see me in someone Life they remind me it is time to think of myself since I put that part on hold to raise my girls etc...I have no regret at all, it was a fantastic ride raising my girls
Since I lost my career of 15 yrs+, as many have because of closure. I have relocated at least a few times to work, this is my third time being laid off, so I may have another move.
Until I feel I am settled, then maybe it will be time to consider dating, or if they still call it dating
But until then I enjoy this site & the people

My sons and daughter hoped I would allow myself to be happy and loved by someone special.
It's tiresome being laid off ... was laid off 4 weeks ago ... Was able to get some interviews, but when 70+ people apply for the same office job, I feel I was lucky to be called back for 2nd and 3rd interviews.

Laid off is nasty for sure, but I stop & think many are in my shoes, which some have children to support etc... At least mine are gone & married and have only myself to worry about 
Hoping to find something soon at least before June or I will be returning to the Falls again
