There are reasons for that on here...There are certain countries where scammers amass from and it's hard to tell who is genuine and who isn't...They spoil it for the genuine people from these countries because too many people have been burnt by these pathetic individuals....

Short answer: Yes. Rare to find good people but that might be every country. Don't know because I have not traveled abroad.
