Just curious... if you met a guy and you CLICKED... would you continue to date them if they HATED your pet ? EG.. hates cats or small dogs ect ?

well i don't know about anyone hating my pets cuz they are all men!
i have a wonderful collection actually and i do take care not to let them get to close to one another during certain seasons...
but i just love my pets!!
i have an intellectual one
and an emotional one
and a creative one
and a pet that gives great massage
and one that can cook
and one that takes me on holidays
and several that i work with!!!!
i just don't know what i would do without my pets!
i even have one that takes me shopping sometimes!
and then i have the quiet ones ,
and the one's i go dancing with .....
shall i go on???

I doubt I'd continue dating someone who HATED anything I loved. If he preferred to not be around ANY particular animal for some reason, allergy, bad experience, etc., I may continue dating him to see what would happen and if he had other hang-ups. But just singled out my pet? doubt I'd continue seeing him.

As a guy, if I hated her pet I'd have to really ponder my attraction to Her!
My pets are part of my package.....I chose them........
And of course they are as lovable as I am.......
They don't get many visitors either..............

My pets are part of the family. I can understand someone with allergies wanting to avoid them, but hating animals is a bad sign.
I'll likely take some flak here, but my kids and I scooped up a groundhog who was clipped by a car and took him/her to the Humane Society. It couldn't walk but was trying to drag itself along, right in the middle of the road. The poor thing was not likely going to make it but I preferred to have it euthanized rather than leaving it in traffic to be run over and over again (as some drivers go out of their way to do.)
Yeah, I know people hate groundhogs and they do a lot of real damage but no creature deserves to be left in pain and misery.

No, if they hated by dogs, I couldn't. My dogs are like my children and they depend on me to take care of them. I adopted them, meaning I chose the them and spared their life. Besides people with pets live longer and happier lives.
