THAT'S the Gilly we all know and love. Ok, here are my answers:
1. I don't feel a need, but it is a cultural habit to say hello...it justs pops out of my mouth without thinking.
2. I last said hello to someone yesterday. I'm home alone all day today, so there's nobody for me to greet.
3. I must admit that I DO get a bit offended if someone doesn't reply to me when I have spoken a friendly greeting to them, but that's probably a bit silly of me. They don't have to speak.
4. Friendliest people in the world?? I haven't been to every country of the world, so I can't answer this.
5. I don't think New Yorkers are the rudest on the planet; they just have a no-nonsense style that can be mis-interpreted by many, but, then again, so do Greeks and Italians and others. It isn't necessarily a rude thing, just a style of speaking.
6. Only 84 questions a day. LOL
7. How often do I wake up? Every single time I fall asleep....at least, until the final big nap.
8. It's Good Friday here in Greece and everyone is preparing for the biggest holiday here, Easter. It's lovely to witness and be part of the traditions of this time here...as I write this, I hear church bells clanging every so often.
9. My most interesting thought for the day is...... hmmmmm.... can I get back to you later, after I've had a thought to consider?
10. I am looking forward to tomorrow and to Sunday. I will be with Greek friends both days and will enjoy good company, Easter festivities, and wonderful food....particularly on Sunday, when the lamb is roasted on the spit for hours. Mmmmmmm!!
