On Sunday, 24th May 2009 I wish to help raise between 8,000 and 10,000 euros for local charities - if anybody has any suggestions or help to offer please let me know.

Thank you,

Well, I'm doing my own version of what I call a 'Dutch Auction' - already got over 3,000 euros worth of 'stuff' donated to auction off including a personal donation of a 1,000 euro bond.......... already sold 21 tickets (cash) today @ 6 euros per head for lunch and hope most people will spend about five to ten euros on the auction! thumbs up

Sommerauer71: What charities Rusty?

Five, mainly local charities my dad supported before he died:

The Cardiac Care Unit of Gozo Hospital

The ARCA Centre (provides relief for family carers of disabled people)

The MMDNA (a voluntary home care nurse organisation)

The SPCA Gozo (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)

Muscular Dystrophy
